***NEW*** Focus on Feature

As part of the BCT project we deliver a variety of activities with groups and organisations in the local area.

This month we are going to “Focus on” and tell you a bit more about an organisation that we work with to deliver our Tea Dance sessions.

Xpress-Yourself was founded in 2013 by Faye O’Connor. It specialises in dancing with active older adults through weekly dances, Keep Dancing, across Birmingham and the West Midlands. They also deliver creative dance workshops for older frail adults in care homes, hospitals and dementia cafes. To find out more about Xpress-Yourself visit their webpage: www.xpress-yourself.co.uk or fb: @xpress55yourself . You can also visit their You tube channel which has some wonderful FREE dance classes to watch and join in!

There are a number of local organisations and groups in the Stockfield and North Acocks Green area that offer support services to residents.

Information and details of those groups are featured below.

Organisations on this list attend the Multi Agency Group meeting held tri-monthly. The group welcomes new organisations to join us, to network and share information on current initiatives and services that they are offering. If you would like further information or to be added to this list please contact Becky Coley – beckycbct@gmail.com
